About Marc
Marc completed Engineering followed by Landscape Architecture in 2001 at the University of Canberra and became a Registered Landscape Architect of AILA in 2003. Marc Established Conlon Group in 2013 and has been an owner and director for over fifteen years.
In this time Marc has worked with some of Australia’s largest and most prominent companies, universities, government departments, public and private, development and construction groups. His project experience ranges from private residences, resorts, apartments, public spaces, iconic buildings, major urban planning, institutions, community, cultural and heritage sites.
He has been recognised internationally and nationally for innovation, sustainability and excellence in design and has directed such projects as the Brampton Island resort redevelopment and The Tuggeranong United Football Club Master Plan, The BPN award winning GAIA and Montville houses, The AIA award winning Currimundii Beach House, Mansfield Place QUT, Residences Precinct ANU, Flagstone Estate, Gungahlin Town Centre and many private residences whilst working on over 400 projects. He contributes to wider professional and community activities and his work has been exhibited, published and received awards at state, national and international levels. Marc is an advocate for the profession of Landscape Architecture and has served on the regional committee for the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects.
