Peregian’s Future
The Rufous Street Precinct does not only create an opportunity to connect the commercial hub of Peregian to the sporting fields but it also allows for the development of a coherent outcome for Peregian Village at large. We will seek to consolidate the aspiration of many into a unified cohesive plan. Our methodology for the Community Engagement Plan for the Rufous Street Precinct in Peregian is to draw together all the past community engagement processes undertaken over the past five years and develop them into one simple legible mapping document that the community can reference and continue to make comment on, whilst the design team use it for briefing guidance for the proposal of new public amenities, commercial & community facilities in the Rufous Street Precinct and the master plan of the Local Community Precinct.
