This Brazilian inspired coastal home, boasts a true connection to place.

This luxury home sits on the Eastern Australian coastline of Yaroomba part of the Sunshine Coast.  Yaroomba meaning “surf on the beach” is known for its excellent surfing conditions and is home to a small yet passionate community who care greatly for its unique natural assets and the enriched lifestyle it possesses.  The philosophy at the core of this design was inspired by “the dry and essential” Brazilian Architect Isay Weinfield. The design set out to nurture essential lifestyle requirements whilst producing a simplified, visually striking and harmonious home. The design was a collaborative process of outside-in at onset to control a true connection with the residences surroundings.  This was achieved as the landscape design focused on local flora and fauna as inspiration to tie it to place.  Ultimately this process allowed influences from the landscape design to flow within the house design to provided for a controlled approach and astonishing outcome.
