A contemporary clinic to push architectural philosophies.
This commercial building design was crafted to accommodate for a communal working hub environment for several businesses. The design initiative was for the building to be solar passive and have transparency through communal spaces as well as being easily accessible for patients and visitors. This openness was achieved by an outer structure of a “forest of steel trunks” enveloping an inner lining of vertical timber and glass. Such an open space allowed for the landscaping to be viewed from within the building and also used as screening around and within the building.
