This prewar home displays a clever conjunction of modernism and historicism, which derives from preoccupation with function rather than aesthetics.
The design at Stanley terrace in Taringa Brisbane embraces the natural sloping landform of the site, creating an experience which begins at the upper street level and shifts down through a series of slopes and terraces. The shifting landscape intensifies the experience with a series of internal trellis gardens and the use of the hardscape elements that extend from the house.
